Create a warm welcoming entryway and a sense of history with this exquisite oak hall-tree sturdily crafted in the 1800's from gorgeous oak. The hall tree is finely crafted solid oak with thick tiger oak veneer. Hinged lid on seat for storing items out of sight is a great feature. While the stunning carvings and the brass figured double hooks around the mirror allow plenty of places to hang your coats. The piece measures 28.5" x 16" x 80" tall. The hall tree is gorgeous showing very little age related wear, however there was some water damage at the base that has caused minimal, slight wrinkling of the veneer on the seat cover and some minor damage at the rear feet, none of which is detracting from the stability and beauty of the piece. The mirror shows just enough age related spots & rippling to verify that it is original. This is a great-sized piece for most homes-large enough to have presence but small enough to work without feeling too massive. Don't let this one get away!
