"Thirty One Years On The Plains & In The Mountains" An autobiography of a Frontiersman, Scout & Texas Ranger. Capt. Drannan was born Jan. 30, 1832. At age 25 he set out on his own. At one time he was taken under the wing of Kit Carson. Inside cover page was stamped by a news company. The book is also signed by original owner. The book is in very good antique condition. All pages are intact. I took advantage of the holidays & read this book. Amazing story & history of the West. Includes early events here, even mentions Yreka, Mt. Shasta, Clear Lake & others!
