If your are a back country mule and horse packer you know that a good camp stove for the tent is a must. This "Ranger" camp stove made by Sims Stoves in Billings, Montana is perfect for packing. It weighs 42 lbs. with the canvas case. The stove is 25" high and 2 1/4" x 22 1/4" square, the oven is 22" x 10 1/2 "x 11". The stove comes with 7' of stove pipe and has a damper. Assembly takes approximately 3 minutes per the manufacturer, but we think it will take some practice. It requires no nuts, bolts or, screws. The stove pipe is 26 gauge, tapered, nested, and riveted on ends to prevent collapse. This will keep you plenty warm and has an oven for baking or warming food too. Happy camping.
