Authentic Tarahumara Indian clay pot. This clay pot was handmade by the Tarahumara Indians of Chihuahua, Mexico. A rustic clay vessel with hide and sinew details, it stands 11" with a 4.5" opening at the top. This style of pottery is generally used by the Tarahumara's for water, fermenting native corn beer, to cook and serve native foods or to hold offerings for the dead.
