You will love this circa 1920's wardrobe trunk ! It is in very good antique condition. Manufacture in Texas by Simon Trunk co., it is a Wheary cushioned top wardrobe steamer trunk. It has loads of brass hardware all around, hinges, corners & brackets, leather handle on top. Brass name plate "Edith Lott" & a Yellow Stone Camps travel sticker. Keys included with this locking truck. Unlock the top to open the trunk, Inside there is a lever that releases the lower latch. One side has four drawers which have a locking metal bar for travel, the other side is for hanging close & has an unusual bracket at the bottom for your iron. Imagine taking this on your next airplane trip! The trunk measures 23" x 23" x 41" tall. The trunk bears patents by George Wheary in 1914 & 1920. Super nice trunk for extra storage, child's dress up or railroad steampunk!
