This nicely tanned sheepskin throw/rug is from a Shetland sheep which has very fine wool & is in unused condition. The Shetland wood is valued for spinning. In the Shetland Islands wedding shawls are made from this wool that can pass completely thru the wedding ring. However, if you shave this sheep, the wool will not grow back! This is a high quality, unique and hard to find sheepskin.
