Very beautiful Synthetic approx. 18 carat Alexandrite set in 14K Italian gold with an 18" twisted gold chain. The pictures do not do this lovely pendant justice and do not show the flashes of violet and blue. As you can see from the estimate of value synthetic does not mean worthless. This is a very lovely pendant with a well crafted solid gold setting & chain. A natural Alexandrite such as this would be well over a thousand dollars.
