Here you go! What a find. This sapphire was originally purchased in 1981. It comes with a U.S. Gemological Service Certificate of Market Value of $496. That is a 1981 figure. Everybody knows what has happened to values since then. This Sapphire is described as "oval mixed cut, Medium dark - dark, blue. There is a comment "color zoning present inclusion may affect durability". This sapphire would probably be best suited in a necklace rather than a ring so that it takes less abuse.
