With the exception of the scissors the kit comes wrapped in very soft leather and tied shut with leather thongs. Once unwrapped you find the Awl with an antler handle which features a carved area for the thumb. Various sizes of needles including two for leather. The leather needles are rounded and the piece of leather is inserted in the top rather than thru and eye. Another needle is threaded with what appears to be sinew. We also added a nice old wooden handled punch to this lot. Neat old scissors top of this lot.
