This looks very much like Australian opal - however we are not experts & cannot guarantee this. There is 1.6 lbs of rough with nice bands of color showing. We have allowed a couple pieces of this rough to dry & it remained stable without cracks. We were also shown a very pretty ring with fire made from more of this rough. The large piece is fist sized. Sorry the fire bands do not show in the photos. Please preview this lot Tuesday if at all possible.
