Well this is a super cool shovel. If you'd ever cleaned the soil from a narrow deep hole you needed this shovel. We've never seen one like this before, but have certainly needed one and probably will again! A lever flips the head of the shovel to a horizontal position to allow the soil to be easily lifted from the hole. No more struggling to remove the dirt where there's no room to tilt the shovel. Shovel measures 74" long and scoop of shovel for removing dirt measures 7.5" x 7". The handle is metal and the actuator handle at top is of wood. This tool has surface rust only, the metal is still solid and the action works well.
