Genuine handcarved alabaster bowl made in Italy By Ditta Prof. Bessi, No. 2113/C. is scratched into the base of the bowl near the original sticker. Bowl sits in a brass ring with 3 antique stylized dolphins. There are some visible fractures that seem consistent with natural stone. Although visible the fractures are smooth. It is my opinion that these were present in the original block. Bowl is 10" in diamter & 3" high.
