This is truly a unique treasure made in the late 1800's to early 1900's! This lot features an antique & historic, American manufactured Chase carriage robe/blanket/rug. Some of the best sleigh rugs were made by Chase. Each was individually made & dyed with rich colors. There were myriad designs and collectors of today seldom if ever see a duplicate. This heavy wool classic Victorian style blanket has deep red oak leaves and a Collie type dog. This blanket is in excellent antique condition with few signs of wear. The rug measures 60" x 48".
