Very interesting antique lamp & shade. The butterfly and leaf details on the handle, along with the sweet roses embossed in the field of the base are indicative of the esthetic movement (late 1800'S). We think that this embossed brass candleholder was electrified to a small table lamp. The fringed shade is made with a delicate pleated fabric that is very brittle with missing fabric, but is included here to show the style. (lamp with shade measures 14" x 13.5" tall, the base of lamp is 8.25" diameter. The small antique blown glass cream pitcher is an attractive cobalt blue . There are no markings on the pitcher and no nicks or chips. pitcher is 2" at base x 3.25" tall. Also included is this warm brass trinket box with brass latch. The engraving on the box has been further embellished with ahand painted touch of color which adds to the charm of this piece. Box measures 5.5" x 3.5" x 3" tall.
