We seem to have a correct guess!!! Yay!

This appears to be an antique slate shingle cutter and punch. It is missing the punch attachements.

Unknown contraption. If you know what this is...let us know. All metal with a wooden handle. Blade is not sharp and approximately 1/8" thick  Help!!!

So far we have had several guesses which all of them imply that it is a cutter of some sort (tobacco, flower stems, slate shingle and cone cutter). 

There is an area that looks like it may be missing a part on the handle as well as the base that appears to have had other parts on it at one time. This makes me think that it could possibly be a punch of some sort. 

Any more guesses????
