Glowing green glass! Includes a highly collectible simply stunning Vaseline glass cake plate! Vaseline glass is produced by adding Uranium to a glass mix before melting for coloration. This piece is footed and has handles and a delicate floral and scroll pattern on the underside of the glass. It measures 10" x 11". Plate is in good vintage condition with some very minor flea bites along the bottom edge. It comes with an equally beautiful 6.5" diameter pedestal dish also of green glass that is a slightly different shade of green from the platter and could be vaseline glass as well. Pedestal dish has a bit of hard water build up and is in otherwise good condition. They glow now, imagine how these pieces would look under a blacklight!
