So beautiful, you will want to add these to your collection of fine things! Cup and saucer collector's you will love this deep cobalt blue & 22K gold Limoges fine porcelain demitasse cup and saucer made in France. The cup is in good condition with little age related wear other than a slight scratch on the gold handle. Also there is what appears to be a manufacturer's defect in the front leg closest to the handle. It has a split in the back and causes the cup to lean a bit in the direction of the leg. The saucer has no issues that we observed and there is no wear in the gold other than the tiny spot mention. The lovely cup features an 18th Century French couple and is a gorgeous display item. Lot also includes a beautiful old cobalt blue lidded jar with gold accents. The jar is 4" in diameter x 5" tall including the wood. The jar is in very good condition however there is worn thru areas to the gold accent, primarily on the lid. These two items are truly gorgeous!
