6 vintage Celluloid "Prison" rings. 3 are cameos, 1 elk, 1 stone & one other. The most notable artist for these rings is Bob Dodd, there is no way to tell for sure is these were made by him. Bob made approximately 700 rings in his lifetime. This style of ring was also made by prisoners, hence the name "Prison" rings. Made from Celluloid (first plastic produced) from old toothbrush handles, hand mirrors, musical instruments and more. These could date from before 1940, as that is about when celluloid was phased out. Must have pieces for the collector! All rings are intact.
