In the days before indoor plumbing you were lucky to have one of these! This solid wood antique commode chair was built to last, and it has. It measures 21" x 18" x 40" tall and has a 9" diameter hole cut out of the center of the seat. When not in use there is a lid that fits perfectly over the hole. The bottom of the chair has panels of wood on all sides. The back panel is hinged and opens so the chamber pot can be removed. Chair comes with a 9.5" diameter and 5" deep KER Sweden porcelain enamel pot with handle that has normal wear for an item of its age. Chair has some cracks in the wood and could use some tightening up. It really is in impressive condition for its age and would make a wonderful planter!
