Another great find garages of Yreka!! You won't want to miss out on this Singer sewing machine with very uncommon to find Tiffany Gingerbread decals. Even better, the machine is completed contained in a rare Parlor Treadle cabinet! The machine & cabinet do need some restoration. The Antique Singer Instruction book that comes with this machine is for a a 1910 No. 15, Also includes metal spools, original small tin oil can, needles, a variety of feet, & a Dumore electic motor. The machine can be operated via treadle or motor. There is a splotch of paint on the decal at the top side. The unique parlor cabinet has many exciting features including a secret drawer. Doors open front & back to allow operation of the treadle from either side. The doors are cut at a slant for a clever, less visible, overlap closure. Besides the secret drawer, there are four more notions drawers hidden behind a narrow door. The right side opens to reveal the operating mechanisms. The cabinet is easily moved on its original wheels. There is also a button operated, working torsion - Spring lifting mechanism to lift the machine.
